An
old Arabic house which dates back to the 18th c. , located
in the heart of the old souks of Aleppo which , in turn , goes back as
far as the 14th and 15th c.
Close
to one of the oldest gates of Aleppo : Bab Antakia ; only 50 meters far
from the main street of the souk which stretches for 1 km from Bab
Antakia to Aleppo citadel.
You
will feel the pleasure walking from Bab Antakia to Dar Halabia through
the old souk. I have made my choice of this old Arabic house on basis
of complete calmness and the beauty of its architecture.
It
is composed of many rooms , all looking out on an open courtyard that
allows the sun to sneak in all seasons to all the rooms which have more
than two windows each.
After
I resided this house for three years I decided it should be a hotel
where visitors from all around the world can visit and enjoy its charm
and tranquility just as our ancestors used to do.
